Chong Choe is currently a Partner with Choe Holen, P. C. and specializes in corporate, real estate and commercial litigation issues. Prior to his current position, he served in the capacity of an Attorney Advisor for the United States Small Business Administration, which required expertise and review of issues involving various areas of law, including, but not limited to, corporate, real estate, probate, tax and administrative law in order to determine the appropriateness of entering into loan transactions involving property and assets in all fifty states, as well as the various U.S. territories.
Previous to his position with the United States Small Business Administration, Chong served in the capacities of Assistant to the Senior Vice President for Administration, Director of Equal Opportunity and Assistant General Counsel for the University of North Texas. Other previous positions include experience at both large and small law firms and clerking with both the First and Fourteenth State of Texas Courts of Appeals in Houston. As such, Chong has a broad range of expertise, including, but not limited to, corporate, securities, appellate, real estate, employment, education, intellectual property, licensing, immigration, criminal, health and administrative law.
Chong is currently a Board Member of the Korean American Coalition–Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter and also serves as the Chair of the Board of the Korean American Coalition–National. Additionally, he serves as the Director of Kollaboration Dallas and is involved in various capacities with several other non-profit community organizations.
He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with bachelor’s degrees in History and Chemistry, as well as the University of Houston Law Center with his Juris Doctorate. Additionally, he obtained his master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas. |
